Tomorrow morning I wil try my luck at exam 70-649 TS: Upgrading Your MCSE on Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008, Technology Specialist. which is a complete mouthfull of title.

While looking for the exam prep-guide, I found the following on the Microsoft Learning website:

70-640: TS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuring

• Configuring Server Roles (30 percent)

70-642: TS: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuring

• Configuring Network Access (49 percent)

• Configuring a Web Services Infrastructure (30 percent)

I did not see things like those percentages yet with these preparation guides...

I think it is a good idea this way...

Good luck tomorrow, For me it's scheduled next week. I'll try the 648 first. Can you inform us about the reliability of the percentages?

As far as these percentages go, Forget them completely... I had 50 questions on IIS alone...

for the rest: no new types of questions, and for me ( as a Dutch native speaker)nothing sounded like spanish ( as the saying here goes...)

It is a do-able exam, some slight "errors"

Hi Ozzy, I am not sure yet. I'd recommend you taking the trainings, they are available as of now, I did everything by playing around with the software. I do not have a book available at the moment, the courseware is quite good.

let me know how you did when you take it.
