As regular readers of my blog might know, I always try to run beta software as soon as possible. This Time I am running office 2010 (twenty ten not twothousand and ten) beta. Last night I downloaded it from the Technet website. It installed, but the office professional plus did not give me the opportunity to enter a Product Key. so I assumed I could enter it later. when everything was installed, I tried to hunt down the location to add that key. it turns out that in every Office Application that is located under: File, Help:

There you should be able to activate the product OR to give in another Product Key. but too bad, my install only gave me the following screen:
![clip_image002[5] clip_image002[5]](http://blogs.infosupport.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer.Blogs.Components.WeblogFiles/ericd/clip_5F00_image0025_5F00_thumb_5F00_2C22AACA.jpg)
A friend of mine, Helmer, posted a link that might do the trick, so I went to his Blogpost, but to no avail. It did not work.
SO I decided to repair my Install, for that looked like the problem in the screen above. I started the setup again and to my surprise I had an option that I needed:
![clip_image002[7] clip_image002[7]](http://blogs.infosupport.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer.Blogs.Components.WeblogFiles/ericd/clip_5F00_image0027_5F00_thumb_5F00_6BEC914F.jpg)
So I selected the last option: enter a product key, and continued and there it was, the box to enter the Product key.

I entered the key and it even gave me the opportunity to change my setup by selecting options or deselecting option.
I restarted an office application and it was activated indeed…
