At the Forefront Blog I have seen that UAG is RTM since today and TMG is generally available.
UAG is the successor of IAG (Intelligent Application Gateway), UAG is the new application to enable users for Remote Access. this is acomplished in two ways: the first is the new Direct Access technology, that uses IPv6 technologies, the other is SSL VPN like tunneling.
Furthermore UAG makes granular acces possible based on the trustworthyness of the endpoint, like Availability and up-to-dateness of anti malware, settings of the Firewall etc etc.
