Today Microsoft releases XNA Game Studio Express 1.0 The official link and download page aren't there yet but after digging around I found a link[1].

I know that Microsoft does not support and recommend against installing XNA Game Studio Express on Windows

Too bad it doesn't seem to work with Visual Studio 2005 (the NOT express edition)

@Sander: This year a Professional version will be released! And it is absolutely very possible to install the Express Edition next to a Professional edition of VS 2005.
