I am currently working on custom State machine workflow using VS 2008. My Workflow has Initialization State, First State, Second State and Final State. I am using onWorkflowItemChanged Event in First State and Second State and simply checking the Status of Item. The Status of item can be "FirstState","SecondState","Completed". I am simply checking if item status updated to Completed, move workflow to Final State (end workflow ).

Now my problem is that when workflow moves to final State, rather then workflow should stop it goes re-activate (workflow moves back to initail state) and history log associated to workflow becomes clear.

Every thing is fine in my worflow but i just want to stop worflow properly.

Kindly help me. I tried my best to solve this issue but could not found any clue.

You can assign a specific account to the application pool. If that account does have rights to the temp folder it will work. Look here for some more info on managing the application pool: technet.microsoft.com/.../cc753449(WS.10).aspx. In this case look at "Specify an Identity for the Application pool"

Hi i am using Vista and IIS 7..

I am not able to add additional rights to the temp folder and also I have no idea of how to set up the application pool defaults to the temp folder?

Can you please help me..

If I do wsdl...

its sayin http://rakeshvasu

instead of http://localhost

I dont know how to fix it? Please help me..

I had a similar issue, but I was not having any error! Trying to reference a WCF service published with a BasicHttpBinding Endpoint correctly configured I WAS ABLE to reference the service, BUT the generated reference WAS NOT CORRECT... I mean that I was abel to add the reference and MAKE the call. BUT I had the a WebException just when the execution was returning to the caller "the underlying connection was closed".

After giving everyone permission on the Windows\Temp I was able to have the generation working correctly.
