Hi my name is Willem Meints and I'm a .NET developer at Info Support.
My first experience with computers started back in 1997 with the last generation 486 machines and windows 95. I quickly learned how to program (and break) my computer using various programming languages like QBasic, VB6, Pascal/Delphi and C++.
After finishing a study in information techologies I started working at Info Support as a developer specializing in the .NET platform. My main job is to work together with other developers to produce service oriented solutions for our customers. Sometimes I also get to work on rich client interfaces in WPF or Silverlight.
If I’m not writing blogposts or hacking around in IronPython or some other hippy language I can be found outside on the veluwe with my camera.
This blog is mostly about user interface technologies, it’s something I’m good at and something I really love. Especially the new WPF and Silverlight technologies provide me with more than enough ways to express my creativity. And because variation is good for people I also write about other things like Windows Workflow Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation or other technical challenges I come across in the projects I work on.
