Extensions for the Simple .Text Blog Editor

Using a very unknown feature of Internet Explorer I have created a set of three tools that allow users of the Simple .Text Blog Editor (STBE) to quickly launch the STBE with a new post containing a hyperlink to the page, post or hyperlink that was clicked in Internet Explorer or RssBandit.

So I built:
  1. a plugin for RssBandit that launches STBE (requires .NET 1.1)
  2. a html page containing java script as glue between Internet Explorer and
  3. a commandline utility that launches STBE (requires .NET 1.1)

Of course the last two can easily be customized. The html page can be used to kick-off anything from within the Internet Explorer and the commandline utility can easily be invoked from within any browser or application.

If you're interested in the sources or just the setup; let me know I might publish them :)
