Test posting from Windows Live Writer

I really like this tool[1]. Still have to check how pictures will end up but the WYSIWYG is awesome! When using .Text enter Custom (MetaWeblog API) for the weblog type and http://[site]/services/metablogapi.aspx for the url.

Although I dislike the MSN Internet Explorer toolbar (it slows down IE considerably) I love this new "blog it" button. Click it to create a new post that links to the current page or select some text and then click the "blog it" button to quote the selected text in a new post. Thumbs up!

BTW: I am on holliday but important things like this should not be missed.

I tried it as well, but got a lot of errors :)
Especially when I opened an already published post, and tried to publish it again.

Did you fix anything else?

Yes, editing an existing post does result in errors... hopefully it is because of being beta. I'll try and send some feedback to Microsoft...

Of the record: I have used Reflector on it (it is a .NET app!) to find out what's going on. My guess is that .Text does not implement the MetaWeblog API correctly...
