How I jump to my conclusions

Alice in Use Case Land

Doug Rosenburg, writer of a book that really helped me on deciding how to do RUP (Use Case Driven Object Modeling with UML: A Practical Approach)
wrote the nice story of Alice in Use Case Land which I often refer to when I teach courses

The Duchess, one of the characters in the story, formulates the moral of the story as:

'Never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise'

I could not have stated it better!
