Oracle's design patterns make Sahil Malik say YUCK!
Web Service sample code on otn.oracle.com makes Sahil Malik say YUCK, amongst other things.
Good to read this story to be warned (again) that not all "advanced" sample code is good.
Worth reading, lots of laughs.

BTW, the code sample is really too bad for words.
