Google wants to organize the world's information

Google is on a collision course with lots of companies in the information technology industry.
Blogs are currently flooded with articles like Google Expands Past Computer Screens.
 
Microsoft Watch had a short item on Services Microsoft Should, Could (and Just Might) Develop.
One of the services, codenamed Fremont, is tested right now at Microsoft, and is supposed to be a GoogleBase killer …
