Tijdens onze eerste PerformancePoint training kwam meer dan eens de vraag over kosten naar boven. Geen onterechte vraag, immers PerformancePoint is het duurste product wat Microsoft op de prijslijst heeft staan. Hoewel hij geen concreet antwoord geeft op de vraag voor welk bedrag PerformancePoint Server 2007 nu precies op de prijslijst staat (daarvoor moet je toch echt bij je leverancier aankloppen), geeft Andrew Fryer in zijn blog artikel Performance Point Server – Counting the Cost wel een aardige visie op hoe je die prijs omrekent naar de daadwerkelijke kosten.

About Hans Geurtsen

Hans Geurtsen started his IT carreer in 1988 as a software engineer. In 1997 he started specializing in Business Intelligence. He obtained his first experience in this field as a consultant for BI tool vendor Crystal Decisions. Later he was involved in founding a BI consultancy firm where he worked on large data warehouse implementations in the financial and governance world in roles ranging from consultant to technology manager. In 2007 Hans joined Info Support as a trainer at the Info Support Knowledge Center responsible for the Business Intelligence curriculum. In 2012 he started to work in the field again as a BI Architect.
