Eye tracking example

Seth's Blog shows a nice example of eye tracking on a web site. The example video shows the results of a few test subjects, each looking at some web pages and clicking around. The eye focus is monitored using some eye tracking hardware and visualized with a blue dot. It's interesting to see how the human eyes jump all over the place and respond to stuff like big text, small text, lots of text, few text, pictures and links. Makes me wonder how the blue dot would move on my blog. ;)

OMG!!

Looking at that movie makes me want to freak out.

It is very interesting to see where people actually look on a web age.

Here's a site showing what's called "heat maps". Basicly the stuff from the movie combined into a sort of weahther report. Shows the hot places on an example page.
