Ok, now I'm getting annoyed by .Text enough to make a post about it :-(.
It turns out that putting in angle bracket as literal (using < etc), does not really work when you re-edit a post. Instead all &xt; are returned to the original representation. So don't make any typos, or you start pulling your hair out...
