  • Geslaagd

  • Last schooldays

Pfew, the last schooldays are almost over. Monday I will be presenting the project I worked on together with Martijn at school and hope for the best. We worked really hard on our asp.net based portal project and I personally think it looks great and offers some pretty good functionality. For those who are thinking, what exactly did you build? ...

  • Getting Paid

What a job! Apparently Microsoft is willing to pay[1] people for changing content in the Wikipedia[2]. This could drive Wouter[3] into raising some serious bucks... [1] Get paid to contribute to Wikipedia [2] Wikipedia[3] Wouter

  • Triple tagged

Yesterday when I read Rory's[1] blog and Jason's[2] blog I wondered how long it would take me to get tagged. Tagging is chainmail pressure to reveal 5 private things in your blog that you shouldn't talk about, nobody wants to know about and are just bandwidth eaters. Today I found myself tagged by Eric[3], Wouter[4] and Ramon[5]. This could ...

  • Visual Studio 400 Differences

I just have to admire the effort they took to promote Visual Studio 2005. I really like #144, #156 and #195 videos. Link to Visual Studio 400 Differences

  • China

Today two important messages reached me, both connected to China. I know my blog is being read all over the world: Even in China. However Amnesty International has started a petition to support freedom of speech (blog) because in some countries it is not allowed to speak or write your mind.To sign the petition click on the image below: ...

  • Setting up Windows Live Writer with Movable Type

Today I decided to get a personal blog[1] up that will shadowcopy my work blog[2] and where I will add more personal bits. I installed Movable Type[3] as a blogging engine because Community Server uses Microsoft SQL Server and my provider charges too much for just being able to run Community Server. Movable Type can use a wide range of databases ...

  • Marketing Pictures... Getting real.

What would the world be like if Marketing picture were real? Microsoft employees take the lead.[1] [1] Marketing Pics...Where Do They Get This Stuff!?

  • Test posting from Windows Live Writer

I really like this tool[1]. Still have to check how pictures will end up but the WYSIWYG is awesome! When using .Text enter Custom (MetaWeblog API) for the weblog type and http://[site]/services/metablogapi.aspx for the url. Although I dislike the MSN Internet Explorer toolbar (it slows down IE considerably) I love this new ''blog it'' ...
