Notes 2 self: Reasonable principles for reviewing Open XML and other standards

Rick Jelliffe who is an authority when it comes to open standards has an interesting guide on the principals revolving around the review of Office Open XML for the ISO process (which I am taking part of as well) as well as all other standards. A great read, especially coming from him. It's getting harder to 'just say no' to Open XML just on the merits of Microsoft being evil.

Go over to: http://www.oreillynet.com/xml/blog/2007/05/reasonable_principles_for_revi.html to catch up with the real world of standards review.
