As is stated at one of the MSDN Blogs there are going to be some interesting webcasts on Workflow services.
The week of Sept. 26-30th MSDN is hosting workflow webcasts. Below are the details: (and links)
- September 26th (Monday) – Simple Human Workflow Using Email
- September 27th (Tuesday) – Hosting and Communication Options in Workflow Scenarios
- September 28th (Wednesday) – Workflow + Messaging + Services: Developing Distributed Applications using Workflows
- September 29th (Thursday) – Developing Event Driven State Machine Workflows
- September 30th (Friday) – Extending Workflow Capabilities with Custom Activities
These are being presented by Paul Andrew, Product Manager at MS, who works in the Business Process and Integration group. I believe with the next release of Windows, workflow is going to change the face of Integration drasticially. Never before has there been such a drive to incorporate workflow capabilities into the OS. (Although MSMQ gave us a structure to use, it didn’t enable workflow features out of the box.) As I’ve said before, these are exciting times for integration.
