I was playing around with the two browsers on my system: Google’s Chrome and IE 8 beta 2. I noticed a few tings you might already know, but that I found very valuable for my way of browsing and which I hope both these browsers will support at RTM.
I will start with the Chrome feature:
When you do a search in Chrome on a page, it will not only highlight the occurrences of the searched item, but also in the scroll bar on the right hand side of the screen mark where more occurrences are located. Great Feature.
I noticed two nice features in IE8 also:
Two things stand out for me in this picture: the colors on the tabs: The first two are green, then three blue and three yellow. How I got here: i opened up the first tab, and opened the second by right clicking Open in new Tab I opened a third tab ( it got a normal color until I right clicked and did the same thing twice: Open in a new tab) apparently IE now knows these tabs are connected, and will highlight them as a set, you can also close them as a group, without closing the other tabs or tab groups…
I hope these two features will come together in those browsers..
