I am in San Francisco right now, together with my colleague Sander, to visit the Google I/O conference. Officially, the conference starts tomorrow, but we already did some pre-conf activities today.
We visited the Google San Francisco office for an AngularJS meetup, where we had several fun and interesting conversations over a few beers. The Google developers are really nice people, and loved discussing complex technical problems. There was a nicely mixed crowd, with people using AngularJS in large teams for big enterprises, to start-ups doing advanced things like visualising huge datasets using JavaScript. People moving away from older RIA technologies like Flex or Silverlight seem to like AngularJS a lot. All in all, a great start of the conference, looking forward to the real event, starting tomorrow!
