I just read that Microsoft is working on a new certification program for architects MCAP It’s also a certification that requires some significant steps for you to get there (6-12 months). It’s great to see that also Microsoft agrees on the fact that working as an Architect requires much more skills than repeating the SQL server settings for creating an indexed view or knowing all the properties on a calander control. The program includes demands also skills on project management, decision-making and oral and verbal communication, etc. They will provide more info at the end of the summer so we will see where it goes. Hope the program will run in Europe as well.
