Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the Microsoft DevDays. It was fun and most of the sessions were really interesting to hear and see.
One of the most interesting sessions was the ADO.NET entity framework sesssion. Gert Drapers showed some interesting stuff about how the entity framework works and how you can apply it in your applications. It certainly gave me a good idea on how it works and I'm sure going to try it out and write a little something about it as I go along.
The last session of the day was Mark Miller on how to design a great UI. He gave some interesting tips and showed a lot of good and bad designs. I never knew how easy it is to create a great UI. It doesn't take much effort, in my opinion every developer can do this. It was quite hilarious to see, he gave an excellent presentation even with failing computers.
Too bad I missed Marcel and Wouter's sessions, but hey you can't see it all 🙂
