There always has been a lot of discussion respect to the presence or absence of arrowheads on communication-association relationships between actors and use cases in use-case diagrams.
In my requirements management course, I always give the advice Dr. Use Case formulated three years ago:
Show an arrowhead only on the communication-association line from the
actor initiating the use case to the initiated use case, to show the
direction of the initiation (actor-to-use-case only).
